RECOVERY WORKS FOUNDATION · OREGON

Closing the gaps in addiction treatment.

We bring researchers, clinicians, and supporters together to expand access to effective addiction care. Our first project is research on TMS and its potential role in recovery.

WHY WE EXIST

Promising ideas need careful testing. Effective care needs to reach more people.

We want to help close the distance between addiction research and everyday care. That means working with clinical and research partners to test new options and learn what helps.

OUR FIRST PROJECT

Testing whether TMS can strengthen recovery

A study in Portland, Oregon is testing whether adding TMS to usual care can help people recovering from opioid or alcohol use disorder. TMS remains experimental for these conditions.

WHAT GUIDES OUR WORK

What supporters can expect

Real evidence

We test new options with care, so the field learns what helps and what does not.

Shared expertise

Clinicians, researchers, and community leaders work on one problem together.

Wider access

Our goal is care that reaches people who cannot easily afford or find it today.
